Biography of Naomi Dayneswood

Originally from England, Naomi has been a resident of British Columbia, Canada since the age of 4. At that tender age, Naomi knew that acting was indeed in her future, and she actively pursued the dream in the manner of the typical toddler: by being really, really loud.

As Naomi grew, so too did her burgeoning career. Focusing on attaining a much grander audience beyond her family and friends, she joined Theatre Kelowna Society, and did a total of 6 shows in 5 years - starting as a Munchkin in 'The Wiz' at age 10 and moving up the ladder to lead as Dorothy in the 'Land of Oz'. After having played parts in many shows with other local theatre groups, including Creekside Theatre and Shakespeare Kelowna, Naomi made the move to Vancouver to pursue a career in film.

Following graduation with honors from Vancouver Film School, a heralded Acting for Film and Television Academy, Naomi has had numerous opportunities within the industry. Her initial full-scale theatre performance in Vancouver actualized with the United Players in 'A Month in the Country', and she has completed numerous television commercials and short films since.
