THE LAST FIVE YEARS is a musical about love, backwards and forwards. The story chronicles a young couple's romance in a new and exciting way: her story starts at the end of their relationship and moves backward; his begins on the day they met, and runs to the end. Funny and uplifting, the show captures some of the most heartbreaking and universally felt moments of modern romance.
Born in England, Naomi grew up in Kelowna and was heavily involved in the local theatre scene in various roles, including as 'Dorothy' in THE LAND OF OZ with Kelowna Community Theatre, and as Veta Simmons in Creekside Theatre's HARVEY. She then moved west and graduated from the Acting for Film & Television program at Vancouver Film School. Several film & TV roles followed, including STARGATE: ATLANTIS & multiple commercials, and she's also performed in THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES at Presentation House, and in A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY with United Players.
Jesse is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Recent credits include Teddy Luton in THE CIRCLE (JAC), Romeo/Prince/Nurse/Horatio/Laertes/Polonius/Julius Caesar/Troilus/Himself in THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE(abridged) at the Shaw Theatre, and THE MERRY ADVENTURES OF THE NUTCRACKER, in the coveted role of "Understudy". He is honoured to be part of such a powerful piece of theatre, and looks forward to seeing you all there.
Chris wrote, directed, and performed in Sex and Madness, Rock and Roll, and directed Pinter's The Lover, both for Fugue Free Theatre. The UBC Theatre graduate (BFA, Acting) co-wrote and music-directed Nucklehead Fever: New Wit (Vancouver Sun People's Choice Award). Recent acting credits include Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, and Leading Ladies, both at the Richmond Gateway Theatre.
Gordon has performed in over 70 musicals in his more than forty year career and has even helped write five. Usually you will find him on stage as a singer/dancer/actor, but sometimes you will find him under it as a pianist/percussionist/conductor/musical director. Gordon is currently on tour with Axis Theatre perfecting his medieval cooking skills in King Arthur's Kitchen.
